Today was a good day.

Today, after four years of hell under Trump, it felt like a dark cloud had lifted from the city. A new energy radiated from neighborhood to neighborhood -- bright and hopeful. Walking the streets for hours, my masked smile stretched from ear to ear as I watched people dancing in the street, cars honking, pots turned drums being beat with intensity as we all celebrated the historic election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Today was a good day.
